Just another week to go, then I will climb the stage of the Lowland Photo Festival 2019 in Antwerp (Belgium)! A great festival lasting two days fully devoted to nature photography. With international speakers, a huge photo market, a prestigious photo contest, and a lot of friend and other photographers. The images will be projected on a 14 meter wide screen! I’m really looking forward to seeing my photos that big!
In my presentation I will take you along in my (often nocturnal) world of amphibians, an animal group that started it all for me, both as biologist and as photographer, about 25 years ago. A lot has changed over time, as my images will hopefully show. I will tell about ins and out of my approach to amphibian photography, how I take my photos and how they have changed along the way. Sometimes it’s just a matter of luck, but often the result of projects and a variety of photographic techniques.
I’m excited already and I hope to meet you on 7th of December in Antwerp!
